WHY DON”T YOU JUST TRY series (ongoing since April 2025)

An open-ended, journal-like series built as visual “episodes,” each composed in a single session. Works function both individually and as interconnected puzzle pieces, reflecting emotions, sensations, and states of mind of the moment. The series links past and future episodes, creating a continuous visual narrative that combines drawing, painting, and psychology, exploring art as self-therapy.

ALL WHITE series (2025)

Ink and calligraphy pen drawings inspired by a snow-covered mountain trail in heavy fog. The series explores minimalist expression through black-and-white contrasts, zooming from landscapes to textures, and includes two self-portraits (one inverted), testing perceptual shifts. Comprises 15 sketches.

THE TREE (2024)

A seasonal watercolor series capturing the view of (or being inspired by), a tree outside the artist’s kitchen window, from mid-autumn to the fall of the last leaves. Conceived as both observation and sharing: individual works were gifted to family and friends as Christmas presents.

THE LAKE / DAN’S LAKE series (2024)

Experimental series based on a friend’s photograph of a foggy lake. Each variation transforms the same image through shifts in mood, color, and imagination, gradually detaching from the original source until the lake becomes a personal, internal landscape.

VARIOUS SMALL miniseries / projects (ongoing)

Short exploratory cycles developed from single ideas or spontaneous experiments. They often expand into multi-frame compositions or thematic sketches.

THE RED SERIES (earlier works, open ended)

Medium-scale abstract acrylic paintings on canvas, investigating strong contrasts, layered textures, and full abstraction. Considered autobiographical in tone; the series remains open for future continuation.
