ARTIST STATEMENT

“I paint and draw because it is the only moment when I feel truly myself. These moments, leaving behind something tangible, give meaning to life. My practice is closely tied to psychology and self-reflection, often functioning like dream interpretation: asking ‘Who am I today?’
Through colors, forms, and essentialized states, I record both inner emotions and external impressions. Sometimes I paint feelings — conscious or unconscious; other times I capture the essence of what I see without the need for photography. Looking outward also means looking inward, and in these moments, time seems to stop.”
