A central medium throughout my career, acrylic painting offers a return to freedom beyond architectural drawing. Works often involve layered textures, relief, and the transformation of unfinished canvases over time.

Notable older pieces include Self-portrait (2005–2010), The Smoker (2007), I’m Not Afraid of Red (2016), and later re-paintings such as Red Meeting Green and Yellow (2016), A Self-Portrait Erased (with Red) (2016), Better Outside than Inside (2018), and Scraped Red (2020). Together, these works reflect a process of excavation, covering, and rediscovery.
